How I Like to Work
My clinical style is based on developing a therapeutic partnership between myself and my patient. When you enlist me as part of your healthcare team, you are asking me to use my knowledge and skills to help you find a pathway back to health - that works for you. We work together to identify, understand and address the root cause of your concerns, not just mask the symptoms.
It can take time for me to get to know you, who you are, what you want/need and how I can best help you, but I am committed to helping you find a pathway back to optimal health!
what naturopaths do
These are some of the things a naturopath can do:
help you sort through information
identify evidence-based treatments
customise treatment plans that support your unique health needs and desired outcomes
help to identify and reduce/remove barriers to success
provide diet and lifestyle advice that works for you
prescribe tailor-made medicines (e.g. herbal, nutritional, energetic etc) that help to support the health and function of multiple body systems
prescribe treatments to help to reduce symptoms when sick
aid in recovery after illness
support you in wellness
My interests & Passions
My clinical interests include (but are not limited to) stress, anxiety and other mental health concerns, fatigue, insomnia, hormone health, men and women’s health, gastrointestinal/digestive health, chronic pain and more!
During my degree, I discovered a passion for scientific research as well as the traditional and modern practice of several healing modalities including herbal medicine, homeopathy, flower essences and hydrotherapy.
More recently, my interests have expanded into the study of energetic medicine, mindfulness, meditation and the mind-body connection in health and illness.
I believe my love for herbal medicine research will pull me towards post-graduate study eventually. For now though, I’m happy helping my clients achieve their goals!
